March Lesson Madness!
Happy March, everyone! Have we got a month planned for you! We’ll do this in chronological order of start date…
First, starting tomorrow, Tuesday the 2nd of March, we are starting progressive Salsa lessons at the Rio! These will be beginner level lessons taught by Rique and Percy and will take place from 7:00 to 8:00pm on the 2nd, 9th, 23rd, and 30th before the regular dance. We’re skipping Tuesday the 16th of March for CSU’s spring break, but be sure to come out and practice what you’ve learned so far! Lessons are $35 per person for all four weeks and include entry to each night’s dance. As always, no partner is necessary to join us, and you can pay online or with cash or check at the door. This will be a great, fun learning opportunity, so come join us!
Next, starting this Sunday, the 7th of March, we will be holding another session of beginning Lindy Hop lessons, this time at the Canyon Concert Ballet South Studios! Classes will be held from 7:00 to 8:00pm on March 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th and be taught by Andrew and Madison. As usual, the cost is $35 for the month, no partner is necessary, and you can pay online or with cash or check at the door. Since these classes are on Sunday nights, participants will get into the following Monday’s Avo’s dance for free!
And, by popular demand, we are holding an intermediate (level 2) Lindy Hop class at Avo’s this month, taught by Ford and Lark! (Yay!!!) These classes will be during our normal lesson time from 7:00 to 8:00pm before the dance and will start next Monday, the 8th of March, and continue on the 15th, 22nd, and 29th. I’m sure you’re used to this by now, but the cost is $35 for the month, no partner is necessary, and you can pay online or with cash or check at the door. This is a great opportunity to get top-notch instruction at a bargain price!
