Since Memorial Day (weekend) falls on the 4th Monday of this May, we’re doing a special, short (3-week) session of Intermediate Progressive Lindy Hop lessons starting May 7th and continuing on the 14th and 21st. So come feed your Lindy Hopping addiction from 6:30 to 7:30 before the regular dance! If you’ve got a solid grasp of the the Lindy Hop basics, including inside / outside turns, swing outs, and Charleston, this is the class for you! We will cover more advanced maneuvers and connection techniques, as well as Tandem Charleston. Since it’s a short session, $25 will cover the whole month per person ($10 per night to drop-in) and includes entry to each evening’s dances, payable at the door. No partner necessary!
Swingin’ Mondays at the Masonic Temple Ballroom isn’t effected by Memorial Day weekend, so come on out every Monday for the 7:30 introductory lesson and dancing from 8:00 to 10:30 for just $4.
There aren’t any May holidays that mess up the Salsa at the Rio schedule, so get out there every Tuesday night for some great Latin dancing! Intro lesson at 7:30, dancing from 8:00 to 10:30, still the best deal around at only $3!
